North Park University

The F.M. Johnson Archives and Special Collections works to preserve the history and tell the story of North Park University and the Evangelical Covenant Church by serving as the official repository for their historically significant records. They also collect records documenting the Swedish-American immigrant experience in the Chicago area. In addition to their major collections, the F.M. Johnson Archives and Special Collections also hold smaller archival collections including the Jerry Lind Collection, the LIBRAS Archives, and the PALI Archives.

The Swedish-American Archives of Greater Chicago collects and makes available the rich documentary record of the Swedish-American experience in Chicago, particularly the period 1900 to 1985.

The North Park University Archives, officially part of the Covenant Archives and Historical Library, documents the school’s growth and identity since its establishment in 1891 through administrative records, personal papers, publications, photographs, and more.

The Covenant Archives and Historical Library is the official repository of the Evangelical Covenant Church, a multiethnic denomination founded in 1885 by Swedish immigrants. The collection includes administrative records, personal papers, publications, photographs, and more documenting the activities, theology, and people of the denomination.
