CCC Welcomes iPRES 

CCC welcomed the 2023 iPRES Conference attendees to Chicago with an open house of member collections on September 23, 2023. Participating CCC members included the Newberry Library, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, University of Illinois Chicago, and the Union League Club Chicago. Sherrie Williams, iPRES keynote speaker and founder of the Bronzeville Historical Society, provided a bus tour of Chicago sites associated with the underground railroad.  

Since 2004 iPRES has brought together scientists, students, researchers, archivists, librarians, providers, and other experts to share recent developments, innovative projects and to collaboratively solve problems on digital preservation. This year's iPRES conference (September 19-22) was hosted by the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
