Meet CCC's New Portal Manager
Jessica BrodeFrank
It is with great excitement that CCC announces the hiring of Jessica BrodeFrank as its next Portal Manager. Jessica, who will begin on June 26, comes to CCC from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Los Angeles where she served as Senior Manager of Digital Management Services.
Jessica shared, "The Chicago Collections Consortium is such an exciting platform, bringing the history and culture of the City of Chicago to one central place! Having worked at cultural heritage institutions in Chicago I know how hard it can be to highlight the history of your institution within the city of Chicago when you have a specific collecting focus and a specific mission to highlight. CCC allows institutions to make their history and prominence within the City known and accessible, and I am excited to be able to help work with both the institutions, and the Chicago community to make the CCC platform more accessible and user-friendly!"
Jessica will replace Kate Flynn, who was CCC's first Portal Manager serving in this role since 2014. Kate's contributions to CCC have been enormous. From the launch of the EXPLORE portal to her thorough instruction and introduction to CCC members on the Metadata Hopper and her work on CCC digital exhibits, Kate has played a careful and thoughtful role in her service.
